UPDATE: Oct. 26, 2023, 11:15 a.m. EDT Wayfair's second Way Day event of 2023 started on Oct. 25 and ends on 26. The sale features savings of up to 80% off that Wayfair says are its lowest of the year, with main categories including mattresses, furniture, seasonal decor, and small appliances. This post has been updated with the best live deals in select categories.
Best Way Day deals:The limbo period between Amazon Big Deal Days in mid-October and Black Friday season is apparently the perfect time for Wayfair to squeeze in another Way Day shopping event.
Though Wayfair is alleging that this Way Day is its biggest sale of 2023, this isn't the first Way Day to happen in 2023 (the first one happened in April). Sound familiar? Consumers aren't the only ones who look to influencers for shopping inspo. Retailers follow influencers, too — or, more like one big, giant shopping influencer. It rhymes with Shmamazon, and it just wrapped up its second major shopping event (complete with a coined name) of the year to get a head start on holiday shopping.
The second Way Day of 2023 is running on October 25 and 26.
There are some key differences between Way Day and Prime Day or a Prime Day competition from Best Buy. Way Day is the place to find all things home refresh, whether you're working on a full flip of a popcorn ceiling-era second floor or just need a jewel-toned rug to curate a cozier vibe for fall and winter.
Where there is overlap with Prime Day is the list of major brands that are participating in the sale: Way Day sees deals from Dyson, KitchenAid, and Tempur-Pedic. Here's a zoomed-out look at the main categories involved in the sale:
Up to 65% off living room seating
Up to 50% off small appliances from Dyson, KitchenAid, and more
Up to 70% off mattresses, pillows, toppers, and bed frames from Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, and more
Up to 50% off seasonal decor like trees, wreaths, and storage
Up to 65% off bathroom vanities, plumbing hardware, and more
Up to 50% off fireplaces and heating
Up to 60% off mirrors, vases, decorative accent sculptures, and more
Up to 65% off hanging and standing lighting
Don't feel like sifting through countless pages of deals? We're pulling out some of our favorites in some of the top categories.
Any decent queen-sized mattress for less than $400 is a pretty good deal. One with cooling technology and 12 inches of carefully curated memory foam from a brand like Sealy is a confirmed steal. One of the foams in that support layer is Sealy's CopperChill gel-infused memory foam, which draws on copper's ability to absorb and diffuse heat to keep things cool and breathable under the covers.
Tempur-Cloud memory foam plush support pillow — $56$99(save $43)
Intex Dura-Beam Deluxe ultra plush queen air mattress with headboard — $93.99$249.99(save $156)
Alwyn Home Loftus 3-inch memory foam mattress topper — $132.99$189.99(save $57)
Wayfair Sleep 15-inch massaging zero gravity adjustable bed with wireless remote — $499.99$599.99(save $100)
The Dyson TP7A fan should be a serious contender on any allergy sufferer's wishlist. It combines air purification and air cooling (when you want it) into one of Dyson's slimmer, chicer designs. Spaces up to 290 square feet can get a dual refresh from 10 oscillating speed settings and an advanced particle filtration system that then pushes 77 gallons of clean, cool air back out via Dyson's iconic Air Multiplier technology.
This model isn't app-connected but does come with a remote control for adjusting settings without getting up. And because this model senses the air coming in and adjusts purification accordingly, there's less you'd need to control from your phone, anyway.
Hamilton Beach FlexBrew single-serve coffee maker —$54.99$79.99(save $25)
iRobot Roomba i1 —$189.99$329.99(save $140)
KitchenAid Artisan Mini 3.5-quart tilt-head stand mixer — $279.99$379.99(save $100)
An emerald green velvet couch is a rite of passage for... something. We don't know what, but anyone on home inspo TikTok knows that this is when you know you've made it. This 81.5-inch tufted one from Mercury Row is a pretty solid dupe for the $1,000-plus options from the likes of CB2 or Article, and it can fold flat into a twin-sized bed. Nine other colors (potentially at other prices) are available if you're more of a mustard person.
Etta Avenue Hendrix scalloped upholstered barrel chair — $196.99$399(save $202.01)
Ivy Bronx 70-inch media console with 36-inch electric fireplace — $259.99$559.99(save $300)
Serta Sabrina 72.6-inch queen tufted back convertible sleeper sofa — $750.99$1,299.50(save $548.51)
Plus, enjoy free shipping on everything and one-day delivery on most items.
