Where's the Olympic French ice skater's medal for her mid

Olympic ice skating doesn't have to be about the triple flips and double axels.

French ice skater Maé-Bérénice Méité somehow worked in a small costume change during her performance Thursday in the ladies' single free skate program.

She surprised the judges with a new bedazzled skirt and skaters should take note.

The 23 year old changed her look as her music shifted from "Nocturnes" by pianist Frédéric Chopin to "Happy" by C2C. In a split second, she turned ice skating into Project Runway.

But, this isn't her first time taking risks in her Winter Olympics performances. Previously, in her short program, she performed "Who Run The World (Girls)" by the queen herself, Beyoncé.

The song selections and surprising costume reveals aren't going unnoticed by ice skating fans, especially favorite Winter Olympics correspondent Leslie Jones.

Although Mae placed 19th in the free skating, she still won a fashion medal in our books.
