Videos like that have helped Bloomberg Politics stand out in an election that has proven difficult to lampoon.
Matt Negrin is one of the people behind those videos, which include the Trump ABCs and the return of Will McAvoy to talk about the election.
Negrin joined Mashable's"Biz Please" podcast to talk about his experiences on the ground at the major political events of the season, why he prefers to experience politics through the internet and the basic news-based reason that the media can't help but cover Trump.
"I think that the only way to treat a stupid election is by being stupid, and this is a stupid election," Negrin said. "It's a lot of things, but it is also stupid."
Negrin said that this election has been particularly bizarre because it has been almost entirely about Trump.
Not that he minds.
"For me, I love it because of all these crazy dynamics," he said.
With about a month to go before the election, the race between Trump and Clinton remains relatively close. Trump had narrowed the lead Clinton opened up after the Democratic National Convention, although Clinton has gained back some ground after Trump had a rough past week.
That's means Negrin has maybe one more month in which Trump will still be around.
"I'm going to have such serious Trump withdrawal," Negrin said.
