Pokémon Gomight not be officially available in India, but that hasn't deterred hundreds of fans from travelling around their cities to visit Poke Stops on their Android smartphones with side-loaded APK of the game.

In contrast, Indian Redditors have been talking about how most Poke Stops are places of worship, including local churches, temples and mosques. One Reddit user even likened to it going to a pilgrimage.
One fan remained undeterred in his mission to catch Pokémon.
Pokemon Gofans have also been tweeting about visiting temples.
