Humble dog smiles from ear to ear after seeing himself on TV

This pooch is definitely going places.

One-year-old Pete couldn't contain his excitement after watching himself in all of his golden retriever glory on the small screen.

According to his owner, Jade Westhoff, the tail wagger was featured in a segment on the local news in Oklahoma called "Stacia's Pet Pics" hosted by the station's weather-woman, Stacia Knight.

Once the piece aired, Pete had no other choice but to smile proudly.

"He has always loved watching other dogs on television, he loves all theAirBudmovies the most, and when he saw himself on television he was beside himself," Westhoff told Mashable.

We just hope this happy guy doesn't forget us when he makes it to the big screen!
