Google sort-of announced the Pixel 5 in August, saying the phone will come in the fall. Then, a leak suggested that the likely availability date for the device is October 8.
Now, leaker Jon Prosser is saying that Google will actually make the phone available a bit earlier, on September 30.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
According to Prosser's source, the Pixel 5 (which he calls Pixel 5 5G) will launch in black and green on September 30. The other upcoming Pixel phone, the Pixel 4a 5G, will launch on the same date, but a white version of the phone will come sometime in October.
Prosser says the same source accurately predicted the launch date for the Pixel 4a, and given the earlier leak, the September 30 date seems plausible.

Pixel 5 with 5GNot very much is known about the two upcoming phones, except that they will probably both have a Snapdragon 765G chipset on board. The Pixel 5 is poised to have upgraded cameras, water resistance and a more premium design, Android Central says.
